Country:

Luxembourg is facing the question of how the country and its municipalities can adjust to the repercussions of climate change. This document details possible adaptation measures and strategies, especially given that they will need to be embedded in the future development of Luxembourg‘s agglomerations. The brochure addresses all protagonists in Luxembourg engaged in the implementation of regional and spatial planning as well as planning on a municipal level. It provides an overview of the essential features of climate change and its expected consequences in Luxembourg, where regional climate projections expect annual average temperatures to rise considerably by the end of the 21st century. The document is Luxembourg’s contribution to the transnational C-Change cooperation project, which is funded by the European Commission as part of the INTERREG IV B programme.
