Regional Development Plan


The PRD is a strategic tool for the spatial development of Brussels that aims to face the main territorial stakes of the city by : (1) keeping a diversified population by streghtening the social cohesion, (2) promoting a sustainable economic growth and (3) emphasizing the international and intercultural identity of the city through territorial development project. The first part of the document gives a picture of the existing territorial situation in Brussels: demographic growth, evolution of incomes, poverty, economic growth, international dimension, well-being of inhabitants, natural environment and accessibility. The second part of the document proposes 12 priorities and specific policy measures. These priority are spatialised in 6 maps.
